Long, long ago (1986) and in a universe far far away (Nashville, Tennessee), a middle aged lady had an idea. Going weary of managing apartments for her inlaws she decided to use the gift given to her. She created some unique drawings of cats coming and going, printed them on T-shirts and created a very popular item, especially among the crazy cat ladies of the world: "Cats Coming and Going" T-shirt (Sweatshirt, nightshirt, etc)
Before you could say "Take Meowt to the ballgame" she was creating more and more designs for her cat loving customers. She created a business called "Hep Cat" and the much loved "Hep Cat Catalog", a mail order business cat-ering to the needs of cat lovers, was born.
Going through my old issues of Cat Fancy and came across 2 catalogs: volume 5 and volume 6. Decided to google Hep Cat and found this blog and joined.
